<p>This article describes how to create a GPU instance.</p> <p><strong>Usage Guidelines</strong></p> <p>1．<strong>Open channel</strong>: Currently GPU instances are not directly open to users. You can submit a Ticket on the official website of Ping An Cloud or contact customer service to open up purchase permission. If you click <strong>Buy Now</strong> without opening up purchase permission, you will be led to the purchase page of the ECS.</p> <p>2．<strong>Billing method</strong>: Currently only subscription is supported.</p> <p>3．<strong>Region</strong>: GPU instances can only be created in the East China 1 (Availability Zone B) and South China 1 (Availability Zone A).</p> <p>4．<strong>Image</strong>: Standard images, custom images and shared images are provided. The standard image is pre-installed with GPU driver. If the custom image you select is not pre-installed with GPU driver, download and install the GPU driver yourself after creating instances.</p> <p>5．<strong>Upgrade/degrade configuration</strong>: Currently upgrading/degrading configuration of GPU instances are not supported after the instances are created.</p> <p><strong>Procedures</strong></p> <p>1．Submit a ticket or contact customer service to open up purchase permission.</p> <p>2．After successfully opening up the permission, enter <a href="#https://pinganyun.com/console/ecs/instance/create" target="_blank">ECS Console</a>.</p> <p>3．In the left navigation pane, click <strong>Instance</strong> to enter the <strong>Instance Management</strong> page.</p> <p>4．Click <strong>Subscription,</strong> and select a region that supports to create GPU instances and other relevant configuration information.</p> <p>5．Click <strong>Purchase</strong> to enter the <strong>Order Confirmation</strong> page.</p> <p>6．Verify your order, and then click <strong>Confirm Open</strong> to enter the <strong>Payment Result</strong> page.</p> <p><strong>Result</strong></p> <p>Click <strong>Manage</strong>, you can return to ECS console and view GPU instance just created on <strong>Instance Management</strong> page.</p>
