Remove a NIC from a Security Group

<p>A NIC added to a security group can also be removed from the group. This article describes how to remove a NIC from a security group.</p> <p><strong>Prerequisites</strong></p> <p>You have successfully added a NIC to a security group. For more information, see Add a NIC to a Security Group.</p> <p><strong>Procedures</strong></p> <p>1.Log in to the <a href="#https://yun.pingan.com/console/ecs/overview" target="_blank">ECS Console</a>.</p> <p>2.In the left navigation pane, click <strong>Instance</strong> to enter the <strong>Instance Management</strong> page.</p> <p>3.Select the target region and click the name of target instance to enter the Instance<strong> Information</strong> page.</p> <p>4.Click the <strong>Network</strong> tab and click <strong>Remove from Security Group</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Note:</strong> To remove NIC0 from a security group, at the right side of the <strong>NICO</strong> area click <strong>Remove from Security Group</strong> . To remove NIC1, at the right side of the <strong>NIC1</strong> area click <strong>Remove from Security Group</strong>.</p> <p>5.In the <strong>Remove from Security Group</strong> dialog box that opens, click <strong>Remove</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Result</strong></p> <p>Upon removal, you will see an <strong>Operation succeeded</strong> message at the bottom of the <strong>Instance Information</strong> page and the security group cannot be viewed in the NIC section.</p>
