What is RAM

<p class="shortdesc"></p> <p class="p">Resource Access Management is a service of user identification management and access control provided by Ping AnCloud. You can create and manage RAM users (sub-accounts) and control the RAM users’ operation permission of all resources of your master account with RAM service. </p> <p class="p">RAM allows to create and manage multiple sub-accounts under a master account and assign different authorization policy to individual sub-account or group so as to ensure that different users have different permission to access cloud resources. Meanwhile, it allows to create and manage multiple authorization policies under a master account. Each authorization policy is essentially a set of permission. The administrator can assign one or multiple authorization policies to RAM users. In addition, apart from the default system authorization policy, you can customize authorization policy according to your practical business, meeting your demand for fine-grained authorization of resource access to sub-accounts. </p>
