Roll back EBS

<p>If you have created a snapshot at a certain point, you can roll back an EBS disk to recover the EBS data to the same as the snapshot.</p> <p><strong>Usage Guidelines</strong></p> <p>1.The rollback operation cannot be cancelled, so the original data cannot be recovered after rollback.</p> <p>2.After disk rollback, data generated from the snapshot creation time point to data rollback time point will be cleared. Perform this task with caution.</p> <p><strong>Prerequisites</strong></p> <p>1.The EBS disk has created snapshots, either manually or automatically created ones are ok.</p> <p>2.The EBS disk does not have snapshots in creation.</p> <p>3.ECS instances are shut down, and the EBS disk has not been released.</p> <p><strong>Procedures</strong></p> <p>1.Log in to the <a href="#https://yun.pingan.com/console/ecs/overview" target="_blank">ECS Console</a>.</p> <p>2.Click <strong>Images and Snapshots </strong>&gt; <strong>Snapshots</strong> to enter the <strong>Snapshot </strong>page.</p> <p>3.Select the target region, and in the operation column of the target snapshot click <strong>Revert</strong>.</p> <p>4.In the <strong>Disk Rollback</strong> dialog box that opens, check the rollback information.</p> <p>5.Click <strong>Confirm</strong>, and the snapshot status becomes <strong>Reverting</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Note:</strong></p> <ul> <li>For either system disk or data disk rollback, ECS instances must be shut down.</li> <li>If an instance has been mounted with a data disk, the disk is still mounted after rollback.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Result</strong></p> <p>You will see an <strong>Operation Succeeded</strong> message at the <strong>Snapshot</strong> page, and the target snapshot status will become <strong>Reverting</strong>. Around three to five minutes later, the status will change into <strong>Available</strong>, and the rollback is completed.</p>
