<p>This article describes how to log in to the Windows instance by MSTSC.</p> <p><strong>Prerequisites</strong></p> <p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; You have successfully created an ECS instance. For more information, see Create Windows Instance.</p> <p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; You have configured Internet IP. For more information, see Create Internet IP.</p> <p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; You have configured access rule of IN/OUT of security groups. For more information, see Configure Security Group.</p> <p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Login tool you use should be connected with the ECS that is to be logged in. For example, the default port 3389 is not blocked by firewall.</p> <p><strong>Procedures </strong></p> <p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Log in to the ECS via Console.</p> <p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Right-click<strong> Start</strong> icon, and select <strong>System &gt; Remote Configuration</strong>.</p> <p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; You will enter the <strong>System Properties</strong> page. Click <strong>Remote</strong> tab.</p> <p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the area of <strong>Remote Desktop</strong>, click <strong>Allow remote connections to this computer (L)</strong>.</p> <p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Click <strong>OK</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Note</strong>: If your ECS is enabled with remote login, procedures above can be ignored.</p> <p>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In your local computer, press <strong>Window Key </strong>and<strong> R</strong> at the same time and the dialog box of <strong>Run</strong> opens in the lower left corner.</p> <p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Enter <strong>mstcs</strong> in <strong>Open (O)</strong> line.</p> <p>8.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the dialog box of <strong>Remote Desktop Connection</strong> that opens, enter <strong>Instance Internet IP</strong> in <strong>Computer (C)</strong> line.</p> <p>9.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the dialog box of <strong>Windows Security</strong> that opens, click <strong>Use another account</strong> and enter <strong>administrator account</strong> and <strong>login password of the instance</strong>.</p> <p>10.&nbsp;&nbsp; Click<strong> OK</strong> to log in to the Windows instance.</p>
