Modify EBS Attributes

This article describes the relevant attributes about releasing EBS.

Prerequisites

An EBS disk has been mounted to an ECS instance and its status is Using.

Procedures

1．Log in to the ECS Console.

2．In the left navigation pane, click Instance to enter the Instance Management page.

3．Select the target region and click the name of target instance to enter the Instance Information page.

4．On the Disk tab, in the operation column of the target EBS click ︙.

5．Click Modify Attributes, and a Modify EBS Attributes dialog box will open.

6．In accordance with your requirements, you can select and check Release disk with instance and Release auto-snapshots with disks.

Note: After you select attributes, the automatic snapshots of the disk will be automatically deleted when the disk is manually released or is released together with instances.

7．Click Confirm.

8．In the Verification Code dialog box that opens, enter verification code.

9．Click Confirm.
