Install Pingan Guard

<p>If you selected the need for Pingan Guard when creating the ECS, the system will install it for you by default. If you check the box that does not require Pingan Guard, you can install it by the following methods.</p> <p><strong>Prerequisites</strong></p> <p>1．You have successfully created an ECS instance for the Windows operating system. For more information, see the Windows Quick Start for Create an Instance.</p> <p>2．The ECS is turned on, and the ECS that has been turned off cannot install Pingan Guard.</p> <p><strong>Procedures</strong></p> <p>1．Log in to the<a href="#https://yun.pingan.com/console/ecs/overview" target="_blank"> ECS Console</a>.</p> <p>2．In the left navigation pane, click <strong>Instance</strong> to enter the <strong>Instance Management</strong> page.</p> <p>3．Select the target region and click the name of the target instance to enter the <strong>Instance Information</strong> page.</p> <p>4．Switch to the <strong>Security</strong> tab, and click <strong>Install</strong> after Pingan Guard.</p> <p>5．In the <strong>Install Pingan Guard</strong> dialog box that opens, click <strong>Confirm</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Note:</strong> It takes 3-5 minutes to install Pingan Guard, please do not shut down during this period.</p> <p><strong>Result</strong></p> <p>After the operation is successful, you will see an <strong>Operation succeeded</strong> message at the bottom of the <strong>Instance Information</strong> page on the <strong>Security</strong> tab, the status of Pingan Guard becomes <strong>Security Protecting</strong>.</p>
