Restart Instance

<p>This article describes how to restart an instance.</p> <p><strong>Prerequisites</strong></p> <p>The ECS instance is in the status of <strong>running</strong>. A <strong>stopped</strong> ECS instance cannot be restarted.</p> <p><strong>Procedures</strong></p> <p>1．Log in to the <a href="#https://yun.pingan.com/console/ecs/overview" target="_blank">ECS Console</a>.</p> <p>2．In the left navigation pane, click <strong>Instance</strong> to enter the <strong>Instance Management</strong> page.</p> <p>3．Select target region. In the operation column of the target instance, click <strong>More &gt; Status Management &gt; Restart</strong>.</p> <p>4．In the dialog box of restarting that opens, click <strong>Confirm</strong>.</p> <p>5．In the <strong>Verification Code</strong> dialog box that opens, enter the verification code received on your cellphone.</p> <p>6．Click <strong>Confirm</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Note</strong>: Restarting an instance takes about one to two minutes. Be patient.</p> <p><strong>Result</strong></p> <p>The instance status turns into <strong>Pending</strong> and it will be <strong>Running</strong> after restarting is completed.</p>
