Overview

This document takes a simple network architecture shown in the figure below as an example to illustrate how to deploy a suite of infrastructure in a Cloud environment.

About the Network Architecture

The Ping An Cloud platform delivers network services to users in the mode of Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). VPC in this case is divided into two basic networks: Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and Server Farm Zone (SF).

• DMZ: It functions as an isolated zone positioned between an intranet and the Internet, usually used for deploying Web server, prepositive server or proxy server. It can provide services for the Internet by opening firewalls.

• SF: It functions as a zone for deploying intranet applications and core applications.

Notes:

• Only after the creation of networks and subnets can ECSs be created.

• Usually, a business under a tenant just needs one VPC. Networks of different VPCs are isolated.

• Each VPC has one DMZ and one SF, each of which may contain multiple interconnected subnets.
