<p>After creating a timing task, you can bind the timing task with the instance. The timing task will be executed within the time and validity period you set. This article describes how to bind a timing task with an instance.</p> <p><strong>Usage Guidelines</strong></p> <p>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Each timing task can be bound with a maximum of 100 instances.</p> <p>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; There are time intervals for the execution of timing tasks. In the period of 30 minutes before and after the execution of a timing task bound with an instance, other timing tasks cannot be bound with the instance.</p> <p>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The instances in the elastic scaling group do not support bind timing tasks.</p> <p><strong>Procedures</strong></p> <p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Log in to the<a href="#https://pinganyun.com/console/ecs/overview" target="_blank"> ECS Console</a>.</p> <p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the left navigation pane, click the <strong>Timing Task</strong> to enter the <strong>Timing Task</strong> page.</p> <p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Select the target region and in the <strong>Operation</strong> column of the target timing task, click <strong>Bind instance</strong>.</p> <p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the <strong>Bind Instance</strong> page that opens, check the instances you need to bind.</p> <p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Click <strong>Confirm</strong>.</p> <p>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the verification code dialog box opens, enter the verification code.</p> <p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Click <strong>Confirm</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Result</strong></p> <p>After binding successfully, the number of your bind instances will be displayed in the <strong>Bind Instance</strong> column. Click the number to enter the <strong>Instance Management</strong> page to view your bind instance</p>
