Delete NIC1

Prerequisites

You have successfully added a NIC1. For more information, see Add a NIC to an ECS Instance.

Usage Guidelines

1.Only the added NIC1 can be deleted, while the main NIC (NIC0) cannot be deleted.

2.A deleted NIC cannot be restored. Delete a NIC with caution.

Procedures

1.Log in to the ECS Console.

2.In the left navigation pane, click Instance to enter the Instance Management page.

3.Select the target region and click the name of target instance to enter the Instance Information page.

4.On the Network tab, at the right side of the NIC1 area, click Delete.

Note: The main NIC (NIC0) cannot be deleted.

5.On the Delete page that opens, click Confirm.

Result

Upon deletion, NIC1 cannot be viewed any more.
