<p><strong>Rules for Out of Service and Release Due to Expiration/Arrears</strong></p> <p>An ECS instance will be out of service due to arrears. The ECS instance and relevant data including system disk, and data disk and snapshot that are released with the instance will be deleted permanently seven days after the due date. Data cannot be restored. We recommend that you back up data in advance.&nbsp;</p> <p>1．The system will send a message to remind users that the resource is to be expired one, three, and seven days before the instance of subscription expires.</p> <p>2．The system will send a message to alarm users that the instance is to be stopped on the due day of expiration and first day after the expiration.</p> <p>3．The system will automatically stop the instance on the second day after expiration. The instance cannot be manually started if users do not renew it.</p> <p>4．The system will send an alarm message of release to users on the third, fifth, and seventh day after expiration.</p> <p>5．The system will automatically release the instance on the eighth day after expiration. After the instance is out of service, the cloud host would stop deducting fees but data disk mounting to the host is continuously deducted until the data disk is released.</p> <p>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Billing rule after arrear of an instance of Pay-As-You-Go</strong>: In the buffer period after arrear and before out of service, cloud host resource can be continuously used and will be deducted for fees by usage which is billed by one hour if it is less than one hour. After the instance is out of service, the cloud host would stop deducting fees but data disk mounting to the host would be continuously deducted for fees until the data disk is released.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
