<p>This article describes how to delete a whitelist.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Overview</strong></span></p> <p>If you do not want an ECS of a network segment to access RDS PostgreSQL instances via ECS client, you can delete the whitelist to improve the access security of RDS PostgreSQL service.</p> <p>A general instance, remote disaster recovery instance, and read-only instance support deleting a whitelist.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Prerequisites</strong></span></p> <p>You have successfully created a whitelist. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/RDS/User_Guide_RDS_PostgreSQL.Security_Management.Create_Whitelist" target="_blank">Create a Whitelist</a>.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Procedures</strong></span></p> <p>1.&nbsp; Log in to the <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/rds/overview" target="_blank">RDS Console</a>.</p> <p>2.&nbsp; In the left navigation pane, click <strong>RDS-PostgreSQL</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for RDS-PostgreSQL</strong> page.</p> <p>3.&nbsp; Select the target region.</p> <p>4.&nbsp; In the <strong>Operation</strong> column of the target instance, click <strong>Manage.</strong> Click <strong>White List</strong> tab.</p> <p>5.&nbsp; In <strong>Whitelist</strong> area, select the target whitelist, and click <strong>Delete</strong> in the <strong>Operation</strong> column to enter the <strong>Delete White List</strong> page.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200607163517-16eb978f9400.png" style="height:134px; width:337px" /></p> <p>6.&nbsp; Click <strong>Confirm</strong> to enter the <strong>Verification Code</strong> page.</p> <p>7.&nbsp; The system will send a verification code to the mobile phone that is bound to the account. Fill in the verification code, and click <strong>Confirm</strong>.</p> <p>8.&nbsp; The <strong>Status</strong> of the target <strong>Subnet IP</strong> is <strong>Pending</strong>.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Result</span></strong></p> <p>After the whitelist is successfully deleted, it cannot be viewed.</p>
