<p>This article describes how to create database in the console.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Overview</strong></span></p> <p>The system will not create database when you create an RDS MySQL instance. You need to create the database in the RDS MySQL console.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Prerequisites</strong></span></p> <ol> <li>You have successfully created a general instance. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/RDS/Getting_Started.RDS_MySQL.Create_User" target="_blank">Create a User</a>.</li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Procedures</strong></span></p> <p>1.&nbsp; Log in to the R<a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/rds/overview" target="_blank">DS Console</a>.</p> <p>2.&nbsp; In the left navigation pane, click <strong>RDS-MySQL</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for RDS-MySQL</strong> page.</p> <p>3.&nbsp; Select the target region.</p> <p>4.&nbsp; Click <strong>Manage</strong> in the <strong>operation</strong> column of the target instance and select <strong>Database</strong> tab.</p> <p>5.&nbsp; Click <strong>Create</strong> <strong>Database</strong> in the upper right corner of the page and enter the <strong>Create Database </strong>page.</p> <p>6.&nbsp; Fill in <strong>Database Name, Support character set</strong> and <strong>Describe</strong>.
