<p>This article describes how to enable automatic renewal for an RDS MySQL instance.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Overview</strong></span></p> <p>If you have subscribed an RDS MySQL instance monthly and want to continue to use the instance after its expiration, you can enable automatic renewal for it.</p> <ul> <li>You can enable automatic renewal when creating an instance. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/RDS/User_Guide_RDS_MySQL.Instance_Management.Create_Instance.Create_Common_Instance" target="_blank">Create a General Instance</a>. If you do not want to use this feature, you can manually disable it.</li> <li>If you did not enable this feature when creating an instance, you can manually enable it after the creation.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Usage Guidelines</strong></span></p> <ol> <li>Make sure the account balance is sufficient.</li> <li>The billing method of an instance is subscription (monthly).</li> <li>The automatic renewal period is 1 month by default.</li> <li>The automatic renewal entrance is available only for general instances and read-only instances. A DR instance uses the same automatic renewal policy as its general instance.</li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Procedures</strong></span></p> <p>1.&nbsp; Log in to the <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/rds/overview" target="_blank">RDS Console</a>.</p> <p>2.&nbsp; In the left navigation pane, click <strong>RDS-MySQL</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for RDS-MySQL</strong> page.</p> <p>3.&nbsp; Select the target region.</p> <p>4.&nbsp; In the <strong>Operation</strong> column of the target instance, click <img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200207105448-1be106ee9f75.png" style="height:25px; margin:0px; width:14px" />&nbsp;and then select &nbsp;<strong>Automatic Renewal</strong>.</p> <p>5.&nbsp; In <strong>Configure Automatic</strong>&nbsp;<strong>renewal</strong> dialog box, select <strong>Yes</strong>, and then click <strong>Save</strong>.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200207105524-1b12eb269128.png" style="height:22px; margin:0px; width:90px" />: The automatic renewal period is 1 month.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200207105459-12539afc9fb3.png" style="height:217px; width:587px" /></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Result</strong></span></p> <p><strong>Method 1:</strong></p> <ol> <li>On <strong>Payment Result</strong> page, click <strong>View Order </strong>to enter the <strong>Product Order</strong> page.</li> <li>The status of target order is <strong>All finished</strong>.</li> </ol> <p><strong>Method 2:</strong></p> <p>In the left navigation pane, click <strong>RDS-MySQL</strong>. On the <strong>DBPaaS for RDS-MySQL</strong> page, select the target region and click <strong>Manage</strong> in the <strong>Operation</strong> column of the target cluster instance.
