<p>This article describes how to manually renew an RDS MySQL instance.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Overview</strong></span></p> <p>If you have subscribed an RDS MySQL instance monthly without enabling automatic renewal, you can manually renew the instance.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Usage Guidelines</strong></span></p> <ol> <li>Make sure the account balance is sufficient.</li> <li>The billing method of an instance is subscription (monthly).</li> <li>The automatic renewal entrance is available only for general instances and read-only instances. A DR instance uses the same automatic renewal policy as its general instance.</li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Procedures</strong></span></p> <p>1.&nbsp; Log in to the <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/rds/overview" target="_blank">RDS Console</a>.</p> <p>2.&nbsp; In the left navigation pane, click <strong>RDS-MySQL</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for RDS-MySQL</strong> page.</p> <p>3.&nbsp; Select the target region.</p> <p>4.&nbsp; In the <strong>Operation</strong> column of the target instance, click <img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200207105208-15da5c0495a7.png" style="height:25px; margin:0px; width:14px" />&nbsp;and then select <strong>Renew</strong> to enter the <strong>Renew</strong> page.</p> <p>5.&nbsp; In the <strong>Renew</strong> dialog box, drag the slider to set the renewal duration, and then click <strong>Confirm</strong>.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200207104957-1b7523b1920f.png" style="height:22px; margin:0px; width:90px" />: The renewal duration is 1 to 36 months. The default value is 1 month.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200207105011-17df59359780.png" style="height:237px; width:589px" /></p> <p>6.&nbsp; On the <strong>Order Confirmation </strong>page, click <strong>Confirm Payment</strong> after confirming renewal information.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Result</strong></span></p> <p><strong>Method 1:</strong></p> <ol> <li>On <strong>Payment Result</strong> page, click <strong>View Order </strong>to enter the <strong>Product Order</strong> page.</li> <li>The <strong>Status</strong> of target order is <strong>All finished</strong>.</li> </ol> <p><strong>Method 2:</strong></p> <p>In the left navigation pane, click <strong>RDS-MySQL</strong>. On the <strong>DBPaaS for RDS-MySQL</strong> page, select the target region and then click <strong>Manage</strong> in the <strong>Operation</strong> column of the target cluster instance.
