<p>This article describes how to authorize the read-only or read and write access permissions of the account to specified database through the console.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Overview</span></strong></p> <p>When account and database are created successfully in the console, you shall grant permissions to account and database. You can grant access permissions of the account to specified database and authorize database to be accessed by specified account. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/mongodb/Manual.Account.Modify_Permissions" target="_blank">Modify Permissions</a> of account management, or <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/mongodb/Manual.Database.Modify_Permissions" target="_blank">Modify Permissions </a>of database management. Granting account permissions to specified database is used as an example.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Prerequisites</span></strong></p> <p>1. You have successfully created a user. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/mongodb/Start.Create_User" target="_blank">Create a User</a>.</p> <p>2. You have successfully created databases. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/mongodb/Start.Create_Database" target="_blank">Create Databases</a>.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Procedures</span></strong></p> <p>1. Log in to <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/mongodb/overview" target="_blank">DDS Management Console</a>.</p> <p>2. In the left navigation pane, click <strong>DDS Cluster</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for DDS</strong> page.</p> <p>3. Select the target region.</p> <p>4. In the <strong>Operations</strong> column of the target instance, click <strong>Manage</strong> to select <strong>Account Management </strong>tab.</p> <p>5. Click <strong>Privileges</strong> in the <strong>Operations</strong> column of the target database.</p> <p>6. Select target database from <strong>Unauthorized Database </strong>table, and then click <img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20202408095104-1bbb208a9052.png" style="height:24px; margin:0px; width:28px" />.</p> <p>7.
