<p>When you do not use the instance, you are advised to release resources to avoid waste.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Prerequisites</span></strong></p> <p>You have successfully created a general instance. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/mongodb/Manual.Instance_Management.Create_Instance.Create_Common_Instance" target="_blank">Create a General Instance</a> or <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/mongodb/Manual.Instance_Management.Create_Instance.Create_Slave_Instance" target="_blank">Create a Remote Disaster Recovery Instance</a>.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Usage Guidelines</span></strong></p> <p>1. If you purchase DDS instances with monthly package, you shall release the instance before the order expires. You can apply for refund by submitting a <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/workorder/create" target="_blank">Ticket</a> to obtain the remaining cycle fees. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/mongodb/MongoDB.Return_Example" target="_blank">Refund Example</a>.</p> <p>2. Releasing the instance will delete all the data and backup. Perform this task with caution.</p> <p>3. When the general instance is released, the citywide disaster recovery instance will also be released. If you have successfully created a remote disaster recovery instance, it will also be released.</p> <p>4. A remote disaster recovery instance can be released independently.</p> <p>5. Releasing a general instance will not cause a temporarily resumed instance to be released. You shall release it manually.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Procedures</span></strong></p> <p>1. Log in to <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/mongodb/overview" target="_blank">DDS Management Console</a>.</p> <p>2. In the left navigation pane, click <strong>DDS Cluster</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for DDS</strong> page.</p> <p>3. Select the target region.</p> <p>4. Select <strong>Release</strong> in the <strong>Operations</strong> column of the target instance to enter the <strong>Delete Cluster</strong> page.</p> <p>5. Click <strong>Confirm </strong>to enter the<strong> Verification Code</strong> page.</p> <p>6. The system will send a verification code to your bound mobile number. Enter the verification code, and click <strong>Confirm</strong>.</p> <p>7.
