Restore and Back Up

This article describes how to back up and restore.

Prerequisites

There is backup data. For more information about automatic backup, see Automatic Backup. For more information about manual backup, see Manual Backup.

Usage Guidelines

1. The data is restored in the new temporary recovery instance in Ping An Cloud DDS.

    • The region where the new temporary recovery instance is located is the same as that of general instance. Extra fees will not be charged.

    • A maximum of seven days of new DDS instance can be kept. After seven days, Ping An Cloud will release temporary recovery instance.

2. The computing specification of new temporary recovery instance is the smallest. The storage specification is the same as that of the general instance in performing the restoration.

3. After a temporary recovery instance is created successfully, computing specification and storage specification will not be changed.

4. Each general instance creates a maximum of three temporary recovery instances everyday. If you need to restore the fourth temporary recovery instance, release temporary recovery instance you created before.

5. Temporary recovery instances will automatically create a user. The username is temp_root and has read/write permissions.

Procedures

1. Log in to DDS Management Console.

2.
