<p>This article describes how to set time segment.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Overview</span></strong></p> <p>&bull; Time segment is the duration when Ping An Cloud operates and manages the instance. Time segment is from 02:00 to 06:00 by default. You can manually adjust the time based on your business requirements.</p> <p>&bull; <strong>Backup Start Time</strong> of <strong>Time Segment</strong> cannot overlap with that of automatic backup. For more information about backup start time, see Automatic Backup.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Prerequisites</span></strong></p> <p>You have successfully created a general instance. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/mongodb/Manual.Backup_and_Restore.Automated_Backup" target="_blank">Create a General Instance</a>.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Usage Guidelines</span></strong></p> <p>1. During time segment, intermittent disconnection may take place between your application and database.</p> <p>2. During time segment, <strong>Modify maintainable period</strong> is not allowed.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Procedures</span></strong></p> <p>1. Log in to <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/mongodb/overview" target="_blank">DDS Management Console</a>.</p> <p>2. In the left navigation pane, click <strong>DDS Cluster</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for DDS</strong> page.</p> <p>3. Select the target region.</p> <p>4. Click <strong>Manage</strong> in the <strong>Operation</strong>s column of the target instance, and select <strong>Information</strong> tab in <strong>Configuration Management</strong>.</p> <p>5. Click <strong>Confirm</strong>.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Result</span></strong></p> <p><strong>Method 1:</strong></p> <p>When you set time segment successfully, <strong>Operation Succeeded </strong>is displayed at the bottom of the page.</p> <p><strong>Method 2:</strong></p> <p>You can view the changed target duration on the <strong>Information</strong> page of <strong>Configuration Management </strong>and <strong>Time Segment </strong>area.&nbsp;</p>
