<p>This article describes how to create an account.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Overview</span></strong></p> <p>When a DDS instance is created, the system will not create an account. You shall create an account in the DDS console after creating a general instance successfully. One general instance can create one or more users.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Prerequisites</span></strong></p> <p>1. You have successfully created a general instance. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/mongodb/Manual.Instance_Management.Create_Instance.Create_Common_Instance" target="_blank">Create a General Instance</a>.</p> <p>2. You have successfully created database. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/mongodb/Manual.Database.Create_Database" target="_blank">Create Databases</a>.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Usage Guidelines</span></strong></p> <p>You cannot create an instance-level administrator account.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Procedures</span></strong></p> <p>1. Log in to <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/mongodb/overview" target="_blank">DDS Management Console</a>.</p> <p>2. In the left navigation pane, click <strong>DDS Cluster</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for DDS</strong> page.</p> <p>3. Select the target region.</p> <p>4. In the <strong>Operations</strong> column of the target instance, click <strong>Manage</strong> to select <strong>Account Management </strong>tab.</p> <p>5. Click <strong>Create Account</strong> to enter the<strong> Create Account</strong> page.</p> <p>6. The username is a string of 4 to 16 characters.</p> <p>2. It can be a combination of lowercase letters, underscores (_), or digits.</p> <p>3. The first character shall be the lowercase letter.
