<p>This article describes how to set a maintenance period.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Overview</span></strong></p> <p>The maintenance period of a Redis instance is a period of time for the Redis instance to be maintained and managed. The maintenance period is from 02: 00 to 06: 00 by default and you can manually modify it.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Prerequisites</span></strong></p> <p>You have successfully created a Redis instance. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/Redis/User_Guide.Instance_Management.Create_Instance" target="_blank">Create an Instance</a>.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Usage Guidelines</span></strong></p> <ol> <li>During the maintenance period, your application might encounter a transient disconnection. You can perform operations after reconnecting the application to the database.</li> <li>You cannot modify the maintenance period setting within the maintenance period.</li> </ol> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Procedures</span></strong></p> <p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Log in to the <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/redis/overview" target="_blank">Redis Console</a>.</p> <p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the left navigation pane, click<strong> Redis Cluster</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for Redis </strong>page.</p> <p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Select the target region.</p> <p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the <strong>Operation</strong> column of the target instance, click <strong>Manage</strong>.</p> <p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; On the page that opens, click the <strong>Information </strong>tab.</p> <p>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the <strong>Time Segment</strong> area, select a period from the list.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20201507144921-1de40a8a97da.png" style="height:132px; width:416px" />&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Click<strong> SETTINGS</strong>.</p> <p>8.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the dialog box that opens, click <strong>Confirm</strong><strong>.</strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Result</span></strong></p> <p><strong>Method 1:</strong></p> <p>An <strong>Operation succeeded</strong> message is displayed at the bottom of the page.</p> <p><strong>Method 2:</strong></p> <p>On the<strong> Information</strong> page, the maintenance period in the <strong>Time Segment</strong> area has been changed.</p>
