<p>This article describes how to modify the password of an instance.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Overview</span></strong></p> <p>After a Redis instance is successfully created, you can log in to the instance from a general Redis client.</p> <p>A password is required for logging in to the Redis instance. You can set the password when creating the Redis instance and modify the password in the console afterwards.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Prerequisites</span></strong></p> <p>You have successfully created a Redis instance. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/Redis/User_Guide.Instance_Management.Create_Instance" target="_blank">Create an Instance</a>.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Procedures</span></strong></p> <p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Log in to the <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/redis/overview" target="_blank">Redis Console</a>.</p> <p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the left navigation pane, click<strong> Redis Cluster</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for Redis </strong>page.</p> <p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Select the target region.</p> <p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the <strong>Operation</strong> column of the target instance, click , and then select <strong>Change Password.</strong></p> <p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the <strong>Change</strong> <strong>Password</strong> dialog box, enter the old password and new password, and then confirm the new password.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20201507145146-117bb78095d5.png" style="height:29px; margin:0px; width:65px" />: The password length is 8 to 32 characters. The password must contain uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and digits.
