Upgrade Capacity

<p>When you upgrade the capacity of an instance, you actually upgrade the memory specification of the instance.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Prerequisites</span></strong></p> <p>You have successfully created a Redis instance. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/Redis/User_Guide.Instance_Management.Create_Instance" target="_blank">Create an Instance</a>.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Usage Guidelines</span></strong></p> <ol> <li>When you upgrade the capacity of an instance, your application might encounter a transient interruption. You can perform operations after the connection is restored. You can upgrade the capacity within the maintenance period.</li> <li>After you successfully upgrade the capacity of an instance, the system immediately bills you based on the new memory specification. For more information about billing, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/Redis/Pricing.Billing" target="_blank">Billing</a>.</li> </ol> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Procedures</span></strong></p> <p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Log in to the <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/redis/overview" target="_blank">Redis Console</a>.</p> <p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the left navigation pane, click<strong> Redis Cluster</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for Redis </strong>page.</p> <p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Select the target region.</p> <p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the <strong>Operation </strong>column of the target instance, click <strong>Manage</strong>.</p> <p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; On the page that opens, click the <strong>Capacity </strong>tab.</p> <p>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; On the <strong>Capacity</strong> tab, click <strong>Configuration Changes</strong>.</p> <p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the <strong>Memory Size</strong> area, select the memory specification.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20201507151125-1c6c3b509640.png" style="height:240px; width:811px" /></p> <p>8.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Click <strong>SETTINGS.</strong></p> <p>9.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the <strong>Memory Size</strong> dialog box, click <strong>Confirm.</strong></p> <p>10.&nbsp; On the <strong>Order</strong> <strong>Confirmation</strong> page, click <strong>CONFIRM UPGRADE</strong>.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Result</span></strong></p> <p><strong>Method 1:</strong></p> <p>On the <strong>Payment Result</strong> page, click <strong>VIEW ORDER</strong> to enter the <strong>Order Management</strong> page. The status of the target order is <strong>Finished.</strong></p> <p><strong>Method 2:</strong></p> <p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the left navigation pane, click<strong> Redis Cluster</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for Redis </strong>page. Select the target region. The status of the target instance is <strong>Modify Specification</strong>.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20201507151147-150a030d9fd2.png" style="height:156px; width:830px" /></p> <p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; After a successful upgrade, the status of the target instance becomes <strong>Running</strong>. In the <strong>Operation </strong>column of the target instance, click <strong>Manage</strong>. On the page that opens, click the <strong>Capacity </strong>tab.
