Release a Dedicated Instance

This article describes how to release a Dedicated Instance.

Prerequisites

The status of the Dedicated Instance is Stopped.

Usage Guidelines

An instance cannot be restored once released. Release an instance with caution. Back up the instance before you release it.

Procedures

1.  Log in to the Dedicated Host Console.

2.  In the left navigation pane, click Dedicated Instance to enter the Instance Management page.

3.  Click the More icon ︙ in the Operations column of the target instance to expand the list.

4.  Click Release.

5.  In the confirmation dialog box that opens, click Confirm.

Result

The instance that has been released is not displayed on the Instance Management page.
