Delete Snapshot

<p><strong>Background Information</strong></p> <p>A user can create a maximum of 20 snapshots for one disk, including a maximum of 8 automatic snapshots and a maximum of 12 automatic snapshots. We recommend that you delete unnecessary snapshots. This article describes how to delete a snapshot.</p> <p><strong>Usage Guidelines</strong></p> <p>Deleting a snapshot is of high risks. A snapshot cannot be restored once deleted. Perform this task with caution.</p> <p><strong>Procedures</strong></p> <p>1.&nbsp; Log in to the<a href="#https://pinganyun.com/console/dedicatedEcs/host" target="_blank"> Dedicated Host Console</a>.</p> <p>2.&nbsp; In the left navigation pane, click <strong>Dedicated Disk</strong> to enter the <strong>Disk</strong> page.</p> <p>3.&nbsp; Select the target region, and then click the name of the target disk.</p> <p>4.&nbsp; On the <strong>Disk Information</strong> page, click <strong>Delete</strong> in the <strong>Operations</strong> column of the target snapshot in the <strong>Snapshot</strong> area.</p> <p>5.&nbsp; In the dialog box that opens, click <strong>Confirm</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Result</strong></p> <p>You will see an <strong>Operation </strong><strong>s</strong><strong>ucceeded</strong> message at the bottom of the <strong>Disk Information</strong> page, and the target snapshot is removed from the <strong>Snapshot</strong> area</p>
