Delete a Dedicated Host

If you do not need a Dedicated Host, you can delete it. This article describes how to delete a Dedicated Host.

Prerequisites

Before you delete a Dedicated Host, first delete Dedicated Instances on it.

Instruction

Perform this task with caution. A Dedicated Host cannot be restored once deleted.

Procedures

1.  Log in to the Dedicated Host Console.

2.  In the left navigation pane, Click Dedicated Host to enter the Host Management page.

3.  Click Delete in the Operations column of the target Host.

4.  In the confirmation dialog box that opens, click Confirm.

Result

You will see an Operation succeeded message at the bottom of the Host Management page, and the deleted Host is removed from this page.
