<p>This article describes how to create a disk.</p> <p><strong>Method 1:</strong></p> <p><strong>Prerequisites</strong></p> <p>The status of the Dedicated Instance is <strong>Running</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Procedures</strong></p> <p>1.&nbsp; Log in to the <a href="#https://pinganyun.com/console/dedicatedEcs/host" target="_blank">Dedicated Host Console</a>.</p> <p>2.&nbsp; In the left navigation pane, click <strong>Dedicated Disk</strong> to enter the <strong>Disk</strong> page.</p> <p>3.&nbsp; Select the target region, and click <strong>Create</strong> in the upper-right corner to enter the <strong>Create Disk</strong> page.</p> <p><strong>Note</strong>: The disk and its target Dedicated Instance must be in the same zone. The zone of the disk cannot be changed once created. The newly created disk is displayed in the <strong>Disk Information</strong> area.</p>
