<p>This article describes the common scenarios of Ping An Cloud ELB products.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Web Server ELB</span></strong></p> <p>ELB can establish an effective health check and ELB mechanism for the Web server through ELB without changing the original network architecture, thereby providing a cost-effective and transparent fault-tolerant method for expanding network equipment, promoting server bandwidth utilization, throughput and data processing capabilities as well as improving the flexibility and availability of Web services.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Service Request ELB Among Different Systems Within VPC</span></strong></p> <p>If the traffic between different systems within the VPC is high, you can establish an effective ELB mechanism between the systems within the VPC through Internal or Classic ELB to distribute traffic to different back-end servers, thereby sharing the business request load between systems, improving the system&#39;s data processing capacity, and promoting access efficiency.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">E-Commerce Sales Promotion</span></strong></p> <p>The e-commerce business features obvious network tidal effects. Through the seamless connection of ELB and auto scaling groups, ELB can automatically create back-end cloud servers, effectively verify the health status of servers, and automatically distribute traffic to the newly expanded servers to ease the system pressure at the peak of e-commerce sales promotion.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Cross-Availability Zone Citywide Disaster Recovery</strong></span></p> <p>ELB can distribute access requests and traffic to cloud servers in multi-availability zones to respond, and establish a real-time cross-availability zone citywide disaster recovery mechanism to meet the requirements of different companies for business systems.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">HTTPS Service SSL Unmount</span></strong></p> <p>The SSL unmount transfers the SSL encryption and decryption process in the HTTPS application access process to the Ping An cloud ELB device, thereby reducing the performance pressure generated by the server side processing the SSL certificate and improving the client&#39;s access response speed.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>&nbsp;Access Control</strong></span></p> <p>Through the access control function of ELB, you can control the access permission of specified IP address. Users can create access control policy groups, add specified IPs to the policy groups, and perform access control through blacklisting or whitelisting. Blacklisting is used to restrict the access permission of specified IPs. Whitelisting is used to permit the access of specified IPs.</p>
