Overview

Before using Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), you need to create a server resource pool and add the host to the resource pool to handle the requests forwarded by the listener.

The server resource pool cannot be empty. You must add host members when you create a resource pool. At the same time, when a host member is forcibly released on the host console page, the resource pool will also be emptied and deleted. Make sure that there is no empty resource pool so that the request delivered by ELB can get responses from effective hosts. Listeners that are not bound to the resource pool do not forward requests to the back end, nor do health checks to the back end because they have no destination hosts.
