What is IGW?

<p>Internet Gateway (IGW) is an Internet connection service provided for users in East China region by Ping An Cloud. It is deployed at the exit/entry point of VPC, enabling resources in VPC to access the Internet. IGW provides two types of services including Ethernet Connection Service (ECS) and Destination Network Address Translation (DNAT).</p> <p>&bull;&nbsp;ECS allocates an Internet IP to a cloud host instance and configures security policies for the IP address on the Internet gateway to realize interconnection between the cloud host and the Internet.</p> <p>&bull;&nbsp;DNAT maps Internet IP to a classic ELB IP address of the intranet, to help users access cloud services.</p>
