Pause a Migration Task

<p>Perform this task to stop data migration from the source database to the target database of a running task.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Usage Guidelines</span></strong></p> <p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Tasks that have been finished cannot be paused.</p> <p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; When you pause a migration task, the synchronization of the table that is being synchronized will not stop until it finishes or fails. You can restart the migration task and the tables that have been synchronized will not be migrated again.</p> <p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; If you pause a task for over 3 days, the task cannot be restarted.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Procedures</span></strong></p> <p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Log in to the DTS Console.</p> <p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the left navigation pane, click <strong>Migration Task</strong> to enter the <strong>Migration Task Management</strong> page.</p> <p><strong>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </strong>Select the target region, and click <strong>Paused</strong> in the <strong>Operations</strong> column of the target task.</p> <p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the dialog box that opens, click <strong>Confirm</strong>.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Result</span></strong></p> <p>An <strong>Operation succeeded</strong> message is displayed at the bottom of the page. The target migration task is in paused status, as displayed in the <strong>Status</strong> column.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
