<p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Zero-Downtime Migration</strong></span></p> <p>Ping An Cloud DTS supports zero-downtime online structure migration, full migration, and incremental migration.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200607171652-1f29157690cd.png" style="height:452px; width:700px" /></p> <p>DTS first migrates the structure of the required objects. It defines the structure syntax of the source database and generates the same syntax in the target database based on the syntax of the target database.</p> <p>Before full migration, DTS starts capturing incremental data that is generated during the full migration process and saves the data.</p> <p>After full migration, DTS starts replaying the incremental data to synchronize all the data that is generated during the full migration process to the target database.</p> <p>You can log in to the target database to check your service data. After verifying that all data has been correctly migrated, you can switch your services from the source database to the target database.</p> <p>During the whole online data migration period, services are always available except a transient interruption for database switchover.</p>
