View Instance Information

Perform this task to view database instance information after you log in to the database.

Prerequisites

You have successfully logged in to a database in the DMS console. For more information, see Log in to an RDS MySQL Database, Log in to an RDS PostgreSQL Database, or Log in to a DDS Database.

Procedures

  1. Log in to the DMS Console.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Quick Database Login to enter the Quick Database Login page.
  3. Click the target login tab, and then enter the domain name, port, database name, database username, and password.
  4. Click Log in Database to enter the Database Management page.
  5. On the Instance Information tab, you can view basic instance information.

The following table displays information about RDS MySQL, RDS PostgreSQL, and DDS databases:

Instance domain name

Domain name of the instance that you have logged in to.

Version

Version of the instance that you have logged in to.

Common operations

SQL operation

You can click the SQL Operation tab to execute and format SQL statements, and view the execution result.

Command line

You can click the Command Line tab to execute SQL statements, and view and clear execution results.

  • RDS MySQL instance information

  • RDS PostgreSQL instance information

  • DDS instance information
