Create a Consumer Group

This article describes how to create a consumer group.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Message Queue Kafka Console.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Consumer Manager.
  3. On the Consumer Group Management page, click Create in the upper-right corner.
  4. On the Create Consumer Group page, enter the name and description of the consumer group in the Consumer Group and Description field, respectively, and then select a cluster from the Cluster Title list.
    Note: The consumer group ID must start with CID_ and only contains letters, digits, and underscores (_).
  5. Click Create.

Results

The new consumer group is displayed on the Consumer Group Management page.
