Delete a Collection Policy

<p class="shortdesc">This article describes how to delete a collection policy.</p> <section class="section prereq" id="Delete_Strategy__prereq_tzb_dvz_wmb"><div class="tasklabel"><h2 class="doc-tairway">Before you begin</h2></div> <ol class="ol" id="Delete_Strategy__ol_s5v_3ql_wnb"> <li class="li">You have successfully created a general collection policy or Nginx collection policy. For more information, see <a class="xref" href="/ssr/help/middleware/LogCloud/User_Guide.Collect.Collect_Strategy.Create_Strategy" target="_blank">Create a General Collection Policy</a> or <a class="xref" href="/ssr/help/middleware/LogCloud/User_Guide.Collect.Collect_Strategy.Create_Nginx_Strategy" target="_blank">Create an Nginx Collection Policy</a>.</li> <li class="li">Before you delete an Nginx collection policy, first delete the dashboard whose data is based on the policy. For more information, see <a class="xref" href="/ssr/help/middleware/LogCloud/User_Guide.Visualization.Delete_Dashboard" target="_blank">Delete a Dashboard</a>. </li> </ol> </section> <section class="section attention" id="Delete_Strategy__attention_jcq_gvz_wmb"><div class="tasklabel"><h2 class="doc-tairway">Attention</h2></div> <p class="p">When a host group does not have any devices because of the service expiration or other reasons, the collection policies applied to the host group become valid. You must manually delete these collection policies in the Log Service console.
