<p class="shortdesc"></p> <p class="p">RAM service can control the access permission of RAM users so as to have a centralized control of cloud resource and support the creation and management of groups. RAM is a free service for users provided by Ping AnCloud. Its core advantages are shown as follows:</p> <ul class="ul" id="functional__ul_fgc_xzc_flb"> <li class="li"><strong class="ph b">Risk Control</strong>: create different accounts for different users and to distribute related permission to avoid the sharing of identification authentication certificate of a user's cloud account with other users and to prevent from production malfunction due to inadequate permission.</li> <li class="li"><strong class="ph b">Centralized Management</strong>: centralize the instances, data and permission to a few people for control and management, avoiding redundant permission. Controlling the access permission of RAM users in a centralized way enables to bind one or multiple authorization policy for each user or group and limit users’ operation permission of designated resource. Controlling cloud resource in a centralized way enables a centralized control of instances or data created by users. Even if users leave the group, these instances or data would still under the group's control. </li> <li class="li"><strong class="ph b">Flexible Policy</strong>: sub-accounts can be authorized with general permission using default authorization policy in the system or custom authorization policy with business feature. For example, it can precisely authorize the specific operation of designated ECS instance based on actual needs. </li> </ul>
