Important: Currently, Ping An Cloud KMS is free for use. Later, we will charge for the service. The details are as follows.

Currently, KMS only bills tenants for customer master keys (CMKs) and API calls.

Pricing

  • Common Key Management Fee

    A common key refers to a CMK created by the user. 0.18 RMB/day for each CMK. We will not charge you for CMKs that are PENDING_DELETE.

    Note: If the status of a CMK that is PENDING_DELETE changes on the same day, we will charge you for the CMK on that day to prevent malicious deletion.
  • API Call Fee

    Each user can make a maximum of 20000 API calls for free per month. From the 20001st call, fees will be charged as follows:

  • 0.5 RMB/10000 calls

Billing Examples

Tenant Xiao’an creates five CMKs, and the status of one key is PENDING_DELETE, then the daily charge for the CMKs is 0.18 * 4 = 0.72 RMB;

Xiao’an makes 35000 KMS-related API calls a month, and the charge for API calls at the end of the month is [(35000-20000)/10000] * 0.5 = 0.75 RMB.
