The Resource Orchestration Service (ROS) can help users create, edit, and operate the ROS template for automatic creation and configuration of all cloud resources. The ROS template is a text file in JSON format. ROS manages cloud resources in groups, and a group of resources is a resource stack. ROS can automatically create, delete, upgrade, and downgrade cloud resources to make the deployment and operation quickly and easily.
ROS enables users to orchestrate main Ping An cloud resources and create cloud resources of different specifications by creating resource stacks.
ROS enables users to deploy with the same template, thus improving deployment efficiency.
ROS allows users to use the simple JSON syntax to define the required cloud resources and provides a common template to be used directly.
In the past, cloud products of different specifications needed to be created and configured separately, with high learning and management costs. Now, the batch creation of a large number of resource instances with different services and specifications can be realized using a unified template with one click.
Users can choose to orchestrate different cloud resources based on different usage scenarios. For example, when building a storage service for internal documents of a company, users need to quickly create a large number of elastic file systems (EFSs) to be mounted on the corresponding Elastic Compute Service (ECS). In the template, users can choose storage ECS to be deployed with EFS and create it through simple editing.
ROS can automatically recognize the resource information entered by users in the template, including the location, available domain, product specifications and series, input and output parameters, and associated resource items. Based on these configuration information, ROS can quickly start to create the resource. ROS allows users to create and save self-defined resource stack templates for quick deployment in the future.
Integrating cloud service resourcemakes the operations such as creation, deletion, upgrading and downgrading easier.
The ROS template is a text file in JSON format, including information on cloud resources, configurations, and inter-dependency among resources.
Users can create a ROS template graphically through actions such as Drag and draw Line, saving time for learning of JSON syntax.
Breakpoint continuation refers to continuing actions at a point where a resource stack fails to be created or executed to avoid starting from scratch and save time.
