View Monitoring Data
<p>This article describes how to view monitoring data of an RDS MySQL instance.</p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Overview</strong></span></p>
<p>You can view metrics of an RDS MySQL instance in a visualized way with Argus service to learn about the operating status of RDS-MySQL service in real time. Currently, you can go to the Argus Console via RDS Console, or log in to the Argus Console to view monitoring data.</p>
<p>A general instance and read-only instance support viewing monitoring data.</p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Prerequisites</strong></span></p>
<ol>
<li>You have successfully created an instance. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/RDS/User_Guide_RDS_MySQL.Instance_Management.Create_Instance.Create_Common_Instance" target="_blank">Create a General Instance</a> or <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/RDS/User_Guide_RDS_MySQL.Instance_Management.Create_Instance.Create_Read_Only_Instance" target="_blank">Create a Read-Only Instance</a>.</li>
<li>You have successfully bound an alarm template. For more information, see Set Alarming.</li>

<p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Go to Argus via RDS Console</strong></span></p>
<ol>
<li>Log in to the <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/rds/overview" target="_blank">RDS Console</a>.</li>
<li>In the left navigation pane, click <strong>RDS-MySQL</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for RDS-MySQL</strong> page.</li>
<li>Select the target region.</li>
<li>In the <strong>Operations </strong>column of the target instance, click <img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200607143546-1ef628f19765.png" style="height:25px; margin:0px; width:14px" /><strong> </strong> > <strong>Monitoring Details</strong> to jump to the <strong>Monitor Detail</strong> page of Argus Console.</li>

<p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Log in to Argus Console</strong></span></p>
<ol>
<li>Log in to the <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/argus" target="_blank">Argus Console</a>.</li>
<li>In the left navigation pane, click <strong>Service Monitoring</strong> > <strong>RDS-MySQL</strong>.</li>
<li>In the <strong>Operations</strong> column of the target instance, click <strong>Monitor Detail</strong> to enter the <strong>Monitor Detail </strong>page.</li>
</ol>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>View Monitoring Items Data</strong></span></p>
<p>You can view monitoring items data on the <strong>Monitor Detail</strong> page.</p>
<p>• Click <strong>Monitor Chart</strong> tab to view data chart of monitoring items.</p>

<p>• Click <strong>Templates</strong> tab to view the alarm template bound to the instance.</p>

<p> • You can click <strong>Unbind</strong> in the <strong>Operations</strong> column of the target alarm template to unbind the alarm template and instance.</p>
<p> • You can also click <strong>Bind Template</strong> to set the bind template of the instance.</p>

<p>• Click <strong>Metric</strong> tab to view monitoring item index provided by Argus service.</p>

<p>• In the <strong>Operations</strong> column of the target monitoring item, click <strong>View Chart</strong> to view details of the monitoring item.</p>

<p> 1. You can view monitoring item data in the following time period: Last 1 hour, today, yesterday, recent 3 days, recent 7 days, recent 14 days, or custom time period.</p>
<p> 2. You can view the following monitoring items in the set time period: Average, Max Value, or Min Value.</p>
